Nicholas Barbaroussis

Nicholas Barbaroussis joined ARCH as a Partner in 2007 and is Head of the Structured Financing activities. In a career spanning 30 years he has gained significant experience across debt capital markets, corporate lending, transportation and energy finance. Prior to ARCH Mr. Barbaroussis was consultant and structured finance manager for Siemens Europe, working principally on marine, mining, renewable energy and power generation transactions. Previous experience includes Head of Transportation Finance at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein from 1999 to 2002 and Head of Shipping Finance for Merrill Lynch International from 1994 to 1999. Mr. Barbaroussis spent the first part of his career working in Athens, Paris and London for Bank of America, Chase Manhattan Bank, the National Bank of Greece and LCF Edmond de Rothschild. He obtained his first degree in Mathematics from the University of Athens, and two Masters degrees in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, and an MBA from the Imperial College London in 1978.
