INVESTOR'S OVERVIEW
The CF ARCH cru Investment Funds umbrella and CF ARCH cru Diversified Funds umbrellas were established in 2006 and 2007 respectively. They were set up in order to provide access to multi-asset absolute return investment, with exposure to asset types such as Private Finance (PF), Private Equity (PE), Sustainable Opportunities (SO), Natural Resources (NR) and Real Estate (RE) and, consequently, greater portfolio diversification opportunities.
Following the global financial crisis, these multi-asset diversified funds are no longer able to satisfy the liquidity requirements to remain as daily dealt open-end NURS (Non-UCITS Retail Schemes). They are now in the process of being wound down by the Authorised Corporate Director over the next three to five years.
ARCH Guernsey ICC was established in late 2006 as ARCH's umbrella fund platform domiciled in the Channel Islands. Under the umbrella is a range of listed investment companies providing access to specialised investment portfolios. They provide a cost-efficient entry point to a wide range of investment possibilities, from highly diversified multi-asset portfolios to specific portfolios of absolute return or structured finance investments. Asset, risk and strategy allocations are dynamically adjusted over time to account for changing financial market conditions and economic regimes.
The benefits of the ICC structure include:
- Quoted securities on a recognised stock exchange - Channel Islands Stock Exchange (CISX);
- Daily two-way market pricing;
- Funds are GFSC-regulated;
- Low set up and running costs;
- Legally distinct cell companies, all benefiting from a common infrastructure; and
- Low minimum investment sizes (EUR 50,000 or equivalent).
ARCH Multi-Strategy ICC was established in late 2007 and is an open-end umbrella fund domiciled in the Channel Islands, through which open-ended access to the ARCH investment portfolio range can be obtained. The first investment company is ARCH Private Finance Strategies IC Ltd, which provides a cost-efficient entry point to a wide range of private finance investment possibilities.
In addition to the Fund umbrellas, investment alternatives may be structured with the objective of improving the overall return, tax treatment or to reduce specific risks. All structured investments are subject to aggregate minimum size requirements.
